Principal's Message

 

Hello Sunnymead Families,

I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to serve as the principal of Sunnymead Middle School!

As we look forward to a great school year, we are always striving to educate, connect with, and engage our students, understanding that our mission is to support our students to be healthy individuals who are prepared to enter high school on their journey toward being college and career ready. We have a phenomenal staff that is dedicated to helping your students achieve success.  Our administrators, counselors, teachers, and support staff are here to serve and provide the appropriate support to assist in the individual success of our students.

We offer many programs, clubs and electives that allow our students to get the most out of their middle school experience. We have electives such as AVID, ASB, Band, Art, STEAM and many clubs including Lego club, Kindness club, and Video Gaming club that we encourage students to participate in.

Please consider getting involved at Sunnymead through our parent involvement programs including, English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC), African American Parent Advisory Council (AAPAC), or School Site Council (SSC). We would love for you to be involved and partner with you so we can strengthen our school community through relationships and healthy dialogue.
